I understand how the Robin Hood figure is used here--rob from the rich to give to the poor. However, originally, Robin Hood was opposing the Normans (big government) who were oppressing the Saxon Lords (independent landowners). I'm with that Robin Hood. The right to own and use our property at our own discretion is so key to a free people.
